Patronage
Patronage (patrocinio) represents the official endorsement by the University or the Department of initiatives promoted by external entities. These initiatives must be of a scientific, cultural, educational, or social nature, hold a particular interest for the University, and align with the institutional goals set forth in the Statute of the University of Florence.
Patronage can be granted either by the University (for initiatives of exceptional relevance or involving multiple scientific-disciplinary areas) or by a single Department (when the initiatives are primarily of interest to that specific Department).
A request for University patronage is mutually exclusive to a request for Departmental patronage.
The granting of patronage authorizes the use of the Department's name and logo, accompanied by the statement: "Con il patrocinio del Dipartimento di Medicina Sperimentale e Clinica dell'Università degli Studi di Firenze" (Under the patronage of the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the University of Florence).
Requests for patronage from the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine must be submitted by the Legal Representative of the organizing entity using the appropriate form. Applications must be sent via email to comunicazione@dmsc.unifi.it, with a carbon copy (cc) to organicollegiali@dmsc.unifi.it.
