The Imaging Platform was established at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine (DMSC) of the University of Florence. Its purpose is to make the wealth of knowledge, technical expertise, and instrumentation in the field of conventional and precision optical and electron microscopy—acquired by the teaching and technical staff of the Human Anatomy and Histology Section over decades of research activity—available to researchers from the Departments of the University of Florence, as well as other national and international universities and research centers who require it for their biomedical studies.
