The Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine (DMSC) at the University of Florence is a leading player in the European caregIVR project, dedicated to the use of immersive virtual reality in training and supporting informal caregivers.
On October 9th, the final conference, "Shaping the Future of Learning and Care," chaired by Professor Persiani, full professor of the Department, provided an important opportunity for international partners to share results and discuss new perspectives on training and care for vulnerable individuals.
This European cooperation program leverages the contribution of university research to the development of innovative tools capable of combining expertise, technology, and empathy.
Because innovating in care means, first and foremost, putting the person at the center.
