FLORENCE GERIATRIC HEALTH ALLIANCE 2026

The DMSC at the center of Geriatrics and Aging Medicine

From November 5 to 7, 2026, Florence will host the Florence Geriatric Health Alliance 2026, an important multidisciplinary event dedicated to the health of older people, the complexity of aging, and new perspectives in geriatric medicine.

This event takes on a special significance for the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at the University of Florence, also due to the distinguished presence of Professor Andrea Ungar, Full Professor of Internal Medicine and lecturer at the DMSC, who holds the Congress Chair.

His scientific leadership represents an important recognition of the role that the DMSC plays in research, training and innovation in the geriatric field, with a particular focus on the integration of clinical research, care and training of health professionals.

Three days of discussion among specialists, researchers, and professionals from various disciplines, dedicated to sharing the latest scientific evidence and best practices for comprehensive, personalized, and multidimensional care of older adults.

A high-profile scientific opportunity that fully expresses the DMSC's mission: to conduct research, generate knowledge, and transform it into value for health and the community.

Location: Auditorium of the Florence Chamber of Commerce
November 5–7, 2026
11.2 CME credits

The DMSC is proud to be represented, through Prof. Andrea Ungar, at an event that places Florence and its scientific community at the center of the national debate on aging medicine.
